Description

This elegant 1940 Packard 180 Limousine (7 passenger) is museum quality on the 148" wheelbase and is the most authentically restored 1940 Packard in the USA. It was a frame up restoration and now has about 8,400 miles since its restoration. It is painted a "Packard Blue" color (a very dark Blue). The chauffeur compartment is Blue Leather and the passenger compartment is Grey and Blue Broadcloth, with a mutton carpet. Also,it has a division window, two jump seats and Dictograph microphone to speak to the driver..The 1940 Packard embodied all of the improvements to the Custom Super-8 engine during the 1930's with a three speed transmission, high speed rear end and overrdrive. Also, It has radio, heater, trunk rack with bumper, twin mount spare tires, Jaeger clock and almost every option available in 1940.

I am the 5th owner and the person who restored the Packard which has WWII military staff car history and was later used at an all girls school. If desired, this limousine can used for weddings and touring.

This Packard has won the following prestigious awards: Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) Premier Award, Packard Automobile Classics (PAC) Alvan MaCauley "Best of Show" (pre-war) Award, Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Grand National Senior Award, Professional Car Society (PCS) National 1st Place Award..
